Promotions: Read Your Rewards, Reset and Retained Progress

Understand the Promotion panel before confirming a reset. A recorded Captain-to-Major example separates permanent gains, rebuilt facilities and retained progress so you can read your own next-rank offer carefully.

Check three parts of the Promotion panel

The Promotion panel separates its offer into You Gain, Resets and Keep. Read all three before pressing Promote: a permanent benefit does not mean your buildings and current cash stay in place. The panel also shows the next rank and the cash cost of confirming the promotion.

In a public gameplay recording published October 15, 2026, the displayed offer is Captain to Major. It shows one promotion already completed and a message that the requirements are in place. This is a specific player example, so use your own panel for the next rank, price and benefits rather than treating that recorded offer as a complete rank table.

Read permanent gains as an offer for your next rank

The Captain-to-Major example lists an additional permanent 100% income benefit, 100 Gold and a starting cash amount of $5,250. It also lists the Major rank beside the player's name and additional unit unlocks. These values describe that recorded offer; they are not a promise that every promotion gives the same Gold or starting cash.

The official 2x Cash listing says its income benefit stacks with promotions, VIP and boosts. That confirms promotions interact with income bonuses, but the listing does not supply the full calculation. An extra percentage shown in the panel should therefore not be turned into a guessed final income rate for every combination of upgrades.

Read the recorded Doctrine preview as an announcement

The same Captain-to-Major panel also lists one Doctrine point and says the tree opens on Saturday, November 7. That is a preview shown in this recorded offer, not a verified description of the complete tree or a rule for every promotion. The visible panel does not establish branch choices, point costs or a Mortar Team unlock date. Check the current game before treating the preview as a released feature.

Separate rebuilt facilities from retained unlocks

Under Resets, the recorded panel lists every building, returning to the Command Tent, and the player's cash. Under Keep, it lists unlocked units, the promotion bonus, Gold, orders progress and stats. Keeping a unit unlock is different from keeping every facility that previously supported the army.

This distinction explains why a stronger long-term progression position can still involve rebuilding the base. Compare the offer with the construction and cash you currently have. If a single ongoing purchase is your immediate goal, weigh it against the benefits advertised by your next promotion instead of assuming that reset timing has one universal answer.

Confirm the current offer rather than copying a sample cost

Read the rank transition, the current requirement message and the price on your own Promote button before confirming. Note the retained Gold and unlock information separately from the starting cash amount. The recorded example establishes what these panel fields mean; it does not establish a fastest promotion method or a universal purchase order. This briefing was checked on October 16, 2026, and later updates may change the offer shown to your account.
